Data Products

Ecosmart India Limited is providing following high quality data products:

· Clutter/Land Use/ Land Cover Database captured and interpreted from topographical maps, satellite imagery and aerial photograph. Clutter database usually contains different category of land use classes.

· Digital Elevation Model (DEM) used to generate from interpolation of contour lines and spot height. The base input for DEM/DTM is topographic paper map, stereo satellite imagery of RADARSAT, SPOT, IRS and ERS.

· Vector/ Linear Infrastructure database includes roads, railways, coast lines, rivers and boarders. These linear features extracted from paper maps, satellite imagery and aerial photographs.

· Village Location Database attached with census information generated from census maps. All village location spatially marked as point on the maps.

· Landmarks such as historical monuments, temple, church, mosque, major localities name, bus stand, railway station etc. used captured from source topographic map and other ancillary map.

· Administrative Boundary comprises of state, district, taluk, boarders, SSA /SDC, municipal boundary etc. captured from paper map and survey map.

· Building Footprint as polygon generated from high resolution satellite imagery, Ariel photograph and surveyed maps.

· Building Height Database with Z values (3D form) as polygon generated from high resolution stereo satellite imagery.

· Conversion of client data in to different format/projection and also to update with latest information.

Data Product Integration with Services

The Regional/State level digital data generated from 1:200,000/1:250,000 scale paper map updated with satellite image for clutter and linear/vector information. The clutter usually depicts 10-12 category of land use distribution. DTM/DEM generated from interpolated height information of 40 meter contour interval and spot height. The data set usually in medium resolution (50/100 meter) with horizontal accuracy of 40-50 meter and vertical accuracy of 20 meter. The data set also contains all village location point with attached census information obtained from Census of India or from survey agency. All administrative boundaries up to taluk level also part of the data set.

Urban environment changes very rapidly with all around development. The developed digital data set is very useful in detail network design and planning and mostly contains five layer data layer (Clutter, DTM, Vector, Landmarks/Village Location and boundary). The data layer generated from 1:50,000 scale base information with contour interval of 20 meter. The clutter and vector also updated from satellite images with land use categories of 14-18 classes and five categories of linear information. The data set is in 25 meter resolution with horizontal accuracy of 20-30 meter and vertical accuracy of 10-15 meter.

High resolution city level digital data generated from 1:25,000/1:10,000 scale map and updated with merged satellite images (LISS+PAN/Landsat ETM+/SPOT/IKONOS).The data set comprises 25 categories of land use classes , 8 categories of vector with attached name, DTM from 5-10 meter contour interval, Landmarks in 12-15 categories. On request building footprint and building height can also be provided. The data set is available in 5 meter resolution and can be provided in 2 meter resolution on request. The data posses’ very high accuracy level with horizontal accuracy of 8-10 meter and vertical accuracy of 5 meter.
